Inspiration
The bed Gaudí, designed by Matteo Nunziati in 2020, is a tribute to wood, to the power of Nature and its unwitting ability to constantly create new shapes that cannot be classified. The headboard and footboard in heartwood, available in coffee-brown-stained ash, black-stained ash, natural ash, Iroko Natural or coffee-brown-stained Iroko are the result of precious artisanal processes and create a sinuous framework ready to receive the textile upholstery.
The fabric appears to simply rest on the frame, embracing the wood and following the natural shapes, but in reality it is the fruit of a new, complex and highly detailed design study to produce a seamless surface without any visible stitching. This procedure exalts the purity and beauty of wood and gives the bed a cozy yet extremely exclusive appearance. The mattress support is available with slats with rigidity adjustment.
