AGATHA, by AGATHA RUIZ DE LA PRADA brings youthfulness, innocence and spontaneity to VONDOM’s doors, being it’s first Kids collection. The designer’s characteristic icons are discerned instantly by their simple, sweet and refined shapes.
This Kids furniture collection consists of three basic components: a plant pot, a table and a mini chair.
A dream-like garden where the vitality, imagination and ingenuity of children will become contagious is created thanks to these striking designer items.

Agatha Ruiz de la Prada first stepped into the fashion world in 1981. The collection proved to be such a success that she soon opened her first studio-shop in the Spanish capital and started to participate in fashion shows in Madrid and Barcelona. Although Agatha gained a certain level of recognition early on in her career, her true fashion breakthrough came when she allied forces with one of Spain ’ s most important de – partment stores, El Corte Inglés. Thanks to this partnership, the designer ’ s collections were soon distributed throughout the entire national territory. Having con quered Spain, Agatha little by little started to cross borders and gain international recognition by means of her fashion shows and exhibitions and then expanded the family of products: clothes, furniture, perfumes…
Who really are you?
_I’m a designer who’s crazy about contemporary art, very con – cerned about ecology but most of all someone who tries to be consistent in my life.
What do you think of when you hear the word plastic?
_Recycling.
Which is your favorite color?
_Fuchsia.
Which Vondom item from another designer would you put in your home?
_Any of Karim Rashid´s designs. He’s a friend of mine and he has also promoted my New York shop.
What would you prefer, Classic or Science Fiction movie?
_I love classic movies. But my favourite is “Cabaret”, set in the 30’s.
Do you have any fetish object?
_I love tights and tiaras.
What was the last thing you bought?
_Cotton tights from El Corte Ingles.
Do you believe in perfection?
_I believe in the pursuit of perfection.
Do you have any fixation or quirky habit?
_I’m obsessed with cleaning.
What do you do when you are not designing?
_ I like reading and walking my dogs.
